Here at the Blue Mermaid we strongly believe in supporting our community and all the important, work that organizations do to improve it. We would love to help support your cause.
To do so, we will make a cash contribution to your organization. All we ask in return is that you invite your friends, supporters and board of directors to come dine at the Blue Mermaid on a given day, Sunday through Thursday, of your choice. The Blue Mermaid, in return, will donate ten percent of your supporters dining experience proceeds to your cause.
Here is how it works: Call the Blue Mermaid to arrange which day you would like to be your community giving day. We will send you a letter specifying your date & cause for you to send to all your supporters. Recommended methods are via email, new letters, bulletin boards etc. Your supporters are required to bring the letter to the Blue Mermaid to indicate they are dining there to support your organization.
On your community giving day you are welcome to bring promotional materials, signage or other, to help bring awareness to your cause.

We basically threw a party at their restaurant with a band and everything. Good times were had by all and 10% of the proceeds we brought in were graciously donated to our cause. The Blue Mermaid was instrumental in helping us spread the word and exceed our expectations for our race. We ended up raising over $13,000 to benefit Cystic Fibrosis.
